And for those of us who balance everyday our two cultures. Let's celebrate diversity! The original is sold, but giclees are available. The prices depend on the size of the giclee. About Annie Maxwell
Ana Ivis Maxwell (Annie) was born in Guines, Cuba. At the age of 10 she immigrated to the United States with her parents and sister. The family settled in Miami, Florida. This experience provided her with a profound understanding of the Caribbean with an American insight, which influences her work deeply. Annie was aware of her artistic abilities and aspirations at a young age. She has attended various art schools to enrich her artistic growth, and has furthered her studies under the tutorship of noted masters from Cuba, Colombia and Spain.
